Thank you for your interest in private/semi-private lessons! We can’t wait to begin working with your athlete! If you have questions upon review of this information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons are available to any child, ages 3-18, who is interested. Your athlete will grow leaps and bounds
with one-on-one or small group attention. If you are interested in signing up for a private or semi-private lesson, please complete the following:
 Complete the online private lesson request form

 Once the private lesson request form has been submitted, the Gymnastics and Cheer Manager will contact you. This may take 10-14 days. Please feel free to contact us at 319-237-1940 if it has been 14 days and you have not gotten confirmation.

 Please DO NOT make any payments until the lessons have been set up by the Gymnastics and Cheer Manager, and confirmed with you.

 Once confirmed, please take your payment to the YMCA Front Desk. At that time, you will receive a private lesson or semi-private lesson punch card.

 Please bring your private lesson punch card with you to your first lesson. Your punch card will then be kept at the Gymnastics and Cheer Center. Your instructor will notify you when your punch card is nearly full, so you can purchase additional lessons if desired.

Cancellation Policy:
Participants (or parent/guardian) must notify their private lesson instructor at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson if needing to cancel. All participants will be charged for one lesson if 24-hour notice is not given.  Those participating in semi-private lessons (2-3 students) must also notify their instructor at least 24 hours in advance. If one student misses a lesson, while the others attend the lesson, it will be counted as a lesson for ALL participants in the semi-private lesson, not just the one(s) that attended that day. Participants must contact their coach directly to cancel.

We totally understand that you are excited to get started! We are too! Confirmation with our site manager is important because that is when your lesson date, time and instructor will be established, so please be sure to wait for your confirmation email prior to paying.
