Soccer - Youth
The YMCA partners with SESA to offer youth soccer programs in a fun, skill-based environment. We have a variety of programs offering different formats from volunteer coaches to professional sport coaches. With an emphasis on fair play and safety first, the YMCA/SESA youth soccer programs are progressive with age appropriate rules to help teach the game and keep it fun! Soccer is a sport that teaches important core values, while also emphasizing exercise and building endurance.
Junior Academy Boys
Our SESA partners now offering Jr. Academy for any players K-2nd grade. All sessions will be run by SESA licensed/professional coaches. All trainings sessions will be structured with the play-practice-play approach. Registration includes participation in the 6 week Fall Rec League at the Burlington Rec Plex, participation in The Monster Match-Up, & a SESA Jr. Academy T-shirt.

Spring Soccer
The Burlington Area YMCA and the Southeast Soccer Academy work in collaboration to provide Spring Soccer Leagues to the Burlington Area. All games are played at the Burlington Regional RecPlex on fields sized according to ages divisions. Each player receives a t-shirt. Practice times determined by each team coach held at the Y. Games will be held on Saturdays at the RecPlex. Volunteer coaches are needed and will be provided with basic equipment and lesson plans.
*Divisions offered from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
**MIXED TEAMING for divisions U10 & Up. Special requests not guaranteed but will be considered based on need (sibling, etc.) and will be reviewed by Director
** *No Rec league games on May 11th

Summer 7v7 League
The SESA Youth 7v7 League is a great way to get outside, make new friends, learn from new coaches, and PLAY SOCCER. Teams will be mixed, coed, and divisions divided by age groupings. Divisions may be combined if needed. Game Only, no shirts and no practices.
Games played Tuesday evenings : June 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23.
Ages: u8 (will play 4v4 if enough interest), u10, u12, u14 (going into 8th grade).
Fee: $45 (Individual registration only)
Registration: Now-May 13th
Late registration: May 13rd – May 26th (+$15)

U6 Soccer Micro Strikers
Our skills development series is open to children who are eligible to be enrolled in 3-year old pre-school. Players will learn basic soccer fundamentals through drills and small group instruction. Sessions are held at the FunCity Turf. Space is limited to 16 per session.
